Best Political Movies or TV

Okay, like many of you, I'm getting a little burned out on political talk. And taking a cue from other bloggers, let's talk entertainment!

I want to know what you think are the best political movies. This could mean a movie with a great political statement or insight, or one that is actually historically accurate with an important message,  mocks silly government or whatever. We can include TV shows as well.

When I think about it, it seems there are WAY too many movies and TV shows with blatant liberal messages, and maybe we can start a List of Shame or Moonbattiness.

Here are some of mine so far:

MOVIES

-- Brazil  (It's weird and not easy to sit through, but conjures up for me the wastefulness of government beauracracy.)

-- Soylent Green (Once the Democracts get their way, we'll all live like crap and have to eat humans -- all those babies they want to abort.)

-- Team America: World Police (OK, the South Park guys are rather crude, but any movie that accurately depicts 'tards like Michael Moore and all the liberal movie stars who think of themselves as fit to run the country, gets a nod from me. No offense to the genuinely mentally deficient, I have love and affection for them, just not for the voluntarily retarded.)

TV SHOWS

-- The Shield (I think it portrays the illegal alien problem in L.A. pretty well. Graphic, though.)

-- NCIS (Wow, a show with a positively depicted Israeli character! Bad guys are sometimes actually Islamic jihadists. Or slimy French dudes.)

-- Rescue Me (Denis Leary can be very politically INcorrect and get away with it.)

-- South Park (Again, I can't watch this with my young kids, and I feel guilty laughing at the crude jokes. But when they show Barbra Streisand as a monster, mock every form of political correctness, and put 9-11 conspiracists on the same level as turds in the urinal, I gotta love it. Did you know the Hardy Boys were gay?)

MOONBAT MOVIES/TV

-- Boston Legal (I typically love James Spader, and William Shatner is hilarious on this, but they have to make these big, self righteous, liberal statements that are not balanced by positive conservative ideas. The two conservatives on the show are the 'dumb' ones.)

-- Law & Order (I've never seen so many Christian bad guys! Any religious person, esp Christian, is just a nut job. It's okay to be Catholic or whatever, as long as you're not too guided by it.)

-- 24 (OK, I'm kind of mixed on this. I've only seen the recent season, and while they did allow Muslim terrorists to be bad guys, they also made the U.S. seem anxious to steal everyone's civil rights with that evil Patriot Act thing. The U.S. is anxious to torture and accuse innocent people all the time. And the V.P. played by Powers Boothe seems based on Liberal images of evil Dick Cheney.)

-- Flightplan (Obviously sending the message that if you are afraid of Muslims on planes, you're a bigot.)
